You can do a lot more with search than just typing in search terms. With Advanced Search, you can search only for pages that...

  • with all the words you type in
    Let's say you are looking for content about chemical biological radiological nuclear warfare, it is recommended that you try searching for all the search terms. To do this, simply type your terms in the search box provided next to the phrase "with all of the words". Example:

    with all of the words: chemical biological radiological nuclear warfare

  • with the exact phrase you type in
    Let's say you are looking for content about intelligent autonomous vehicles, it is recommended that you try searching for the exact phrase. To do this, simply type your terms in the search box provided next to the phrase "with the exact phrase. " Example:

    with the exact phrase: intelligent autonomous vehicles

  • with at least one of the words:
    Let's say you are looking for content that contains at least one of the following search terms: skin dermal. To do this, simply type your terms in the search box provided next to the phrase "with at least one of the words." Example:

    with at least one of the words: skin dermal

  • without the words:
    Let's say you want to search for content about chemical biological agents, but you want to exclude any results that contain the term sarin. To do this, type your terms that you want to search in the search box provided next to the phrase "with the exact phrase" and in the box next to the phrase" without the words" type the words you want to exclude. Example:
